A car went up in flames in an elevated tunnel in downtown Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province on Friday evening.
The car burned by itself at around 8:30 pm in the middle of the enclosed freeway, which was surrounded by noise-dampening walls.
The driver of the vehicle escaped unhurt, and the fire was put out about an hour later. The burned-out wreck was towed from the scene around midnight. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
