Car rolls uphill against gravity on ‘bizarre slope’ in NE China

It’s not an optical illusion.

But cars left out of gear will roll uphill against gravity on a 75-meter-long slope in northeast China.

The so-called ‘bizarre slope’ is located in the middle of a hill near Liujia Wopeng Village in Huludao City, Liaoning Province.

The concrete road was built about two years ago.

When locals first discovered the strange phenomenon, they asked surveying and mapping professionals to come over, who found out, with spirit levels and other gear, that one end of the road is indeed 2 meters higher than the other.
