CBI study: Brexit could cost 5% of annual GDP by 2020

A research released by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) finds that a so-called Brexit could cost about 100 billion pounds of economic output by 2020 — equivalent to 5 percent of annual GDP.

Meanwhile, it also could cost as many as 950,000 jobs.

If so, the unemployment by 2020 would be 2 to 3 percent higher than if Britain stays in the EU.
