The killing of four policemen in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district is an “act of cowardice” and shows the frustration of Naxals over the action being taken by the administration against them, Chief Minister Raman Singh said. He said Naxals are frustrated over the various development-related activities being undertaken by the government. “I am disheartened to know about the killing of four policemen by Naxals. It is an act of cowardice. I condemn it,” Singh said. “The measures taken by the government for security of people and development of the state has made them frustrated. The act of killing show their cruel face,” said the chief minister, who is here to attend a meeting of Niti Aayog to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
