The Chilcot Report, a British inquiry into the Iraq War, was unveiled on Wednesday – seven years after it was first commissioned. Sir John Chilcot, who led the inquiry, said former Prime Minister Tony Blair and his government led the UK into the Iraq War based on “flawed intelligence” and the legal basis for the invasion was “far from satisfactory.” The report also stated that the UK joined the invasion in 2003 before all peaceful options for disarmament had been exhausted.
