China and South Korea on Tuesday reopened talks on maritime demarcation after seven years, which analysts believe may serve as an example for other Asian countries in resolving maritime disputes. Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin and his South Korean counterpart Cho Tae-yul attended the meeting, which began “in an amicable mood” as both sides cited good relations between their two countries, Yonhap News Agency reported.
