China campaigns support anti-poaching: Kenya Wildlife Service

On Wednesday the China-Africa Wildlife Ambassadors (CAWA) that was launched recently visited the KWS headquarters in Nairobi to see the illegal ivory stock piles under the authority’s custody.

During the courtesy call, the Chinese delegates said that they will increase the stringent measures towards reducing the demand for ivory in Asia.

The KWS acting director general Julius Kimani said that the active role that China was playing had helped reduce poaching significantly.
