China detains 20 Maltese ship crew after deadly collision

China detained on Sunday 20 crew members of a Maltese freighter that collided with a Chinese fishing boat in the East China Sea. The incident, which happened early on Saturday, had left two of the 19 Chinese crew members dead, with the remaining others still unaccounted for. Ships from the maritime authorities and the Donghai Fleet of the Chinese navy are still searching for the missing.
