China “disappointed” at EU not recognizing its market economy

China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said on Friday Beijing is “disappointed” by the European Union Parliament’s resolution to refrain from granting its economy the status of market economy.
On Thursday, EU legislators said the world’s second largest economy is not eligible yet for the move, noting that there is no case for relaxing trade barriers, especially the anti-dumping rules against China.
