China’s Ministry of Commerce has said it had started anti-dumping duties on oriented electric steel imports from Japan, South Korea and the European Union since Saturday. The move came after the ministry found evidence that dumping was harming the steel industry. The anti-dumping duties range from 37.3 percent to 46.3 percent and will last for five years.
