China offers 2nd batch of quake relief goods to Pakistan

China handed over its second batch of relief goods worth over 3 million U.S. dollars to Pakistan on Monday, for residents affected by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in October last year.

The disaster killed 280 people, wounded 1,770 others and damaged many houses.

China was the first country to provide humanitarian aid to Pakistan to help people affected.

China provided the first batch of humanitarian aid worth about 1.6 million U.S. dollars shortly after the disaster.
