China Pavilion bags bronze award at Milan Expo

The 2015 Milan Expo has lowered its curtain after a six-month tour-de-force in creativity, innovation and culture. And there was good news for China: Its “Land of Hope Pavilion” covering 4,950 square meters bagged the bronze medal for the large module architecture. The China Pavilion, which stood out amid 26 other structures considered for the award, attracted more than three million visitors since the Expo’s opening on May 1 in the Italian city. Over the course of the six months, it hosted many provincial themed events such as Beijing Week and Shanghai Week. Take a look.
