China-Poland express railway transports goods and friendship

The ancient Silk Road used to be central to interaction and trade across the Asian continent, bringing silk, pottery and tea from the east to Europe, and seeing amber transported to China in the opposite direction. Two thousand years later, an express freight railway along the same route is reconnecting the two countries, transporting goods between the Polish city of Lodz and the southwest Chinese city of Chengdu.
