China says US B-52 bombers warned away from Nansha Islands

China had warned away two US B–52 bombers that were flying near the Nansha Islands in the South China Sea, said China’s defense ministry on Saturday, in a statement that urged the US not to damage “military ties as well as the relationship between the two countries.” The Chinese Ministry of National Defense called the bombers entering Chinese territory on December 10th as a “threat” to regional stability and demanded the US to stop provocative actions “immediately.”
