China’s aid to Ebola-affected countries wins praise

WHO Director-General Margaret Chan, Guinean President Alpha Conde and President of Sierra Leone Ernest Bai Koroma have all praised China’s support to West African nations that struggled with the Ebola outbreak last year, which claimed more than 6,000 lives in just a few months. The Chinese government had provided four batches of emergency humanitarian aid worth 117.7 million US dollars to the four affected countries.
