China’s biggest auto sellers aim for luxury car buyers in Gulf region

At the on-going Dubai International Motor Show, China’s top vehicle manufacturers take the chance to display their latest models.

China’s biggest automobile seller – Shanghai’s SAIC Motor Corporation – showcases its latest models of Morris Garages and Maxus brands.

The firm has recently announced the opening of its first-ever Middle East head office in Dubai, amid soaring demand for affordable luxury cars in the Gulf.

Guangzhou Automobile Group also displays its second generation GS5 Super, GA6, GS4 vehicles along with the brand new 1.5T. The Guangzhou car firm targets mid to high-end markets globally.

Dong Feng Motor, China’s second largest vehicle company, is also displaying its full range of vehicles in the show.

This year, the show sets the stage for an unrivaled 18 global and 139 regional launches, with 16 new concept cars to be revealed.
