China’s booming housing market

Chinese authorities are introducing new regulations to rein in the country’s overheating property market. The measures range from increasing down payment requirements to limiting the size of apartments that investors are allowed to buy. The University of International Business and Economics’ Liu Baocheng and Hong Kong University’s Xiao Geng discuss whether the new policies are enough to help stabilize China’s real estate market.
