Official figures show that China’s exports grew beyond expectations in December 2015, registering a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. While analysts are linking the increase to the weakening yuan, the Chinese authorities are suggesting that the export gains brought about by the currency depreciation will run thinner and thinner.
