China’s first batch of aid arrives in quake-hit Ecuador

The Chinese government delivered its 60 million yuan (9.5 million US dollars) worth of humanitarian assistance to help tens of thousands of victims affected by the deadly earthquake in Ecuador. Four planes carrying relief materials arrived at Mariscal Sucre International Airport in the capital Quito on Wednesday. Another cargo plane is expected to land in Ecuador on Thursday.
