China’s first female pilot team to take to the skies in “Flying Leopard” jets

In World War II, it was the legendary all-male Flying Tigers who captured the imagination with their daring jaunts in the skies over China. Today, it’s the Flying Leopards. China will soon see its first cohort of female pilots taking to the skies in the “Flying Leopard” fighter jet. Eight years ago they were selected from 150,000 candidates nationwide. Now, this team is well on its way to the clouds above after completing 80 percent of their training.
