China’s foreign reserves hit new low, but no crisis

China’s central bank says the country’s foreign reserves slipped to a two-year low at the end of July, marking 17 months of continuous decline. China’s foreign exchange reserves in July dropped by 342 billion US dollars from last year’s historic high of 3.99 trillion, a reversal of the long-term growth of China’s foreign reserves.
