Chinese telecom giant Huawei Technologies unveiled an educational program in Ecuador’s capital Quito.
Named “Seeds for the Future”, the program seeks to promote studies in information and communications technology (ICT) among university students.
The program centers on student exchanges, with 15 students from the country’s seven leading ICT universities selected to participate in the program.
The program started in 2008 as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility program.
It has since promoted ICT education in 30 countries.
