Chinese and Kenyan scientists work to document over 7,000 plant species

Chinese and Kenyan scientists are putting together a database of the country’s flora in the Shimba Hill National Reserve, just south of the city of Mombasa in Kenya. Through the scientific expedition, they hope to document more than 7,000 plant species there. After a plant species is identified, it is catalogued and photographed, and a sample is taken.
