Chinese, British top institutions on cancer treatment cooperation

The Chinese and British top prestigious institutions on cancer treatment agreed Wednesday to promote medical cooperation.

King’s College London, Europe’s biggest physician training center and one of the UK’s largest cancer treatment center, had a symposium on Wednesday with Tianjin Cancer Institute and Hospital, one of China’s biggest cancer prevention and control research base.

The two sides will carry out scientific research and clinical collaborative studies in genetic testing, tumor targeting therapy, immune therapy, etc.

King’s College London, founded in 1829, is one of England’s oldest and most prestigious university institutions.

Ranked as one of the world’s top 20 universities, the college is dominant in the research of life science, health and medical education.
