Chinese company sets out to salvage Sewol

The Shanghai Salvage Company of China’s Ministry of Transport has sent a ship to South Korea to help recover a South Korean ferry that sank last year. The Sewol sank off South Korea’s west coast on April 16th, en route to the South Korean resort island of Jeju. 304 people, mostly high school students on an excursion, died in the accident. The bodies of nine victims have not yet been recovered.
