Chinese customs announce huge seizure of python skin

Customs officials in south China’s Hainan Province say they have seized 68,000 pieces of python skin worth 48 million U.S. dollars. Customs officials in Hainan say that sixteen people were detained in raids across three provinces on January 29. A company based in Haikou has allegedly been smuggling python skins from Vietnam since 2014.
