Chinese dragon boat race highlights value of unity in Panama
The Second Dragon Boat Festival was held in Panama City on July 17 by the Chinese-Panamanian Cultural Center.

Seventeen teams participated in the event, including professionals and students.

“Our team is made up of 12 competitors, 10 of them paddlers with one drummer and one helmsman, still with 2 in reserve.”
Each winning team received medal and cash reward from 200 to 500 U.S. dollars, which may be used to register for upcoming contests.
