Chinese Imam: Muslims should respect national law

Zhang Zhenhu is an Imam at Qiaomen Mosque in Lanzhou, capital of northwest China’s Gansu Province.

After he graduated from Al-Azhar University in Egypt, Zhang becomes a young prayer leader in this old mosque which has a history of more than 14 centuries. He says marking the Eid al-Fitr is a good opportunity to teach Muslims the religious principles as well as social norms.
