Chinese Language to be recognized in Uganda’s curriculum

Uganda is set to recognize the teaching of Chinese language in its education curriculum.The move is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and trade between Uganda and China.The latest trade links with the Chinese business community is widening the scope of doing business.

Ugandan businessmen and students in high schools are now taking advantage of Chinese language instructions in Luyanzi College Bweyogerere.

Luyanzi College becomes the first private school to teach and integrate Chinese language in the school curriculum and this has empowered persons seeking business and training in china.

To boost the teaching of the Chinese cultures and language, the Chinese embassy has facilitated the construction of the Chinese resource Centre at the Luyanzi College where different Chinese literatures and traditions are being accessed to enable Ugandans appreciate the cordial brotherhood with the Chinese people.
