The Chinese navy has conducted a three-day live-fire exercise in waters of the South China Sea, with the aim to test their strategy and response. The drill was conducted by a naval aviation branch of the South China Sea Fleet from Tuesday to Thursday. Participants were divided into two sides to oppose each other. The drill involved vessels, war planes and guided missiles. Exercises included ultra-low altitude assault, night-time transition of attack and defense, and free air-combat confrontation.
