Chinese navy joins Rim of the Pacific drills in Pearl Harbor

The Chinese navy has sailed to Pearl Harbor to join the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) multinational exercises, the world’s biggest maritime naval drills.

Vessels participating in the drills include a missile destroyer, a missile frigate, a supply ship, a hospital ship, and a submarine rescue vessel.

This is the second time the Chinese navy has participated in the biennial exercises.
