Chinese navy medical ship in Peru for humanitarian services

Chinese navy medical ship Peace Ark arrived in Peru on December 20 on a 7-day visit to offer free clinical care and humanitarian services.

Local patients can come on board to be diagnosed and receive treatment, and the Chinese crew will go to Peru’s military hospitals to provide clinical services.

During its maiden trip to the South American country, staff members will also conduct exchange and cooperation in the military, medical and cultural fields with their Peruvian counterparts.

Peace Ark has visited over 20 countries so far, providing medical aid to some 100,000 people worldwide.
