Chinese police rebuild mountainside road after earthquake

39 police officers struggled for four months to build a road along a dangerous mountainside in Ludian county, Yunnan Province. Building the road was very difficult, as the rock face was left damaged after a 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck in August 2014. Local villagers have expressed their gratitude to the police for their hard work. The road has been built to bring access for public transport to the village, a move which will help boost local farmers sell their agricultural products.
