Chinese Premier Li Keqiang interacted with residents and tourists in Macao as he continued his inspection tour on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Chui Sai On, chief executive of the Macao Special Administration Region, Li visited the Macao Museum, city landmarks, shops and a local family and school on Tuesday afternoon.
At the Ruins of St. Paul’s, the city’s famous icon, the premier was warmly greeted by citizens and tourists. Li posed for photos with them and wished Macao people happiness. It took him 20 minutes to walk 50 meters amid the crowd of people.
The premier also visited shops and bought local pastries at the Rua do Cunha, an old street and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Macao.
