Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has concluded his visit to Macao, where he attended the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation Between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. Prior to his departure, Li said he believes there is more room for Macao to open-up and cooperate with the Chinese mainland. He added that Macao should continue to implement the “one country, two systems” policy and follow the Basic Law. Li also said that the central government had recently introduced 19 new measures to support the region’s development, including supporting tourism, financial services, cross-border e-commerce and the health care industry.
