Chinese President Xi Jinping says the relations between China and the Czech Republic have entered a fast track in recent years. In his article published on Právo, a Czech daily newspaper, Xi wrote that at the end of 2015, both countries signed an intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding to promote the Belt and Road construction, and to make room for more bilateral cooperation and exchange. He also stressed that through his upcoming visit, he hopes leaders from China and the Czech Republic can strengthen mutual political trust, step up strategic integration and trade cooperation, and promote cooperation between China and Europe for a better future.
