Chinese volunteer teacher in Kenya slum

Liu Yimenghan a Chinese national living in Kenya for the last ten years, is now a hero to the children in Mathare, the second largest slum in Kenya. Located in North east Nairobi is Chang Rong school with 222 pupils, all from needy families.

Liu learnt about Chang Rong primary school through other Chinese volunteers who had travelled to Kenya to renovate the school that previously was made of tin only hence the Chinese name.
