Fighting between the ISIL militants and Syrian rebels near the Turkish border has killed at least 27 civilians and 41 combatants in the past two days. ISIL fighters on Friday first cut off the rebel-held northern town of Marea, in Aleppo, from another key insurgent-held town, and then entered on Saturday. The terrorist group reportedly used at least two car bombs in its assault. Their new offensive will bring ISIL their biggest territorial gain in the northern province of Aleppo in two years.
