Vyapam scam whistleblower Ashish Chaturvedi has alleged that the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister has sought to have him killed. Speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW, Chatuvedi said that he was attacked over 14 times and several of these attacks were amidst security guards. There have been a string of deaths connected to the Vyapam scam. Yesterday, Anamika Kushwaha a trainee Sub Inspector recruited through Vyapam in 2014 committed suicide. On Saturday, a TV journalist Akshay Singh died mysteriously after interviewing the parents of Namrata Damor, an accused in the scam who was found dead. And within hours after Singh’s death, Dr Arun Sharma, Dean of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur, was found dead in a Delhi hotel. Dr. Sharma is believed to have been probing irregularities in admissions in his college in connection with the scam.
