College continues revolutionary spirit by eliminating poverty 80 years after Long March

In mid-January 1935, the Red Army arrived in Zunyi city in southwest China’s Guizhou Province, where it held a meeting on the campus of former Zunyi Normal College, with over 10,000 people in attendance. Students and teachers responded to the Red Army’s policies, and were inspired to join the revolution. Today, the college continues honoring its revolutionary spirit, and is helping people live in the mountains out of poverty.
