When you’re one of the members of the Colombian Air Force who does airborne missions, parachuting is necessary for survival. The special-forces dogs are no exception. Not only tasked with bomb-sniffing, this parachuting dog has made dozens of jumps strapped to officers’ chests from more than 1,000 feet in the air. The training will prepare her for the team’s anti-terrorism missions, when officers must jump out of planes and land in potentially dangerous areas rigged with land mines.
