Congress Ministers Bunk Rahul’s Rally | Ask To Give Explanation

Congress Ministers who decided to bunk party vice president Rahul Gandhis’ two-day visit to Haveri and Mandya in Karnataka may now have to pay a hefty price. TIMES NOW has learnt that at least 15 ministers who did not participate in AICC vice president Rahul Gandhis padayatra and public functions during his two-day visit to Karnataka have invited trouble. Not only has the furious party high command sought an explanation for their “negligence”, but it has also decided to initiate disciplinary action against them for failing to mark their presence. Sources told TIMES NOW that AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh has instructed KPCC President G Parameshwara and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to seek an explanation from the ministers. KPCC had issued standing instructions to all the ministers of the Siddaramaiah government to be present when Rahul toured the state extensively. However, several senior leaders were absent during the padyatra. There is speculations they might even be dropped from the Cabinet during the reshuffle which is scheduled for later this month.
