Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad today said that if PM Narendra Modi was interested in running the Monsoon session of Parliament smoothly, he should remove External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. “We hope the PM will start the monsoon session of Parliament by announcing action against the leaders involved in Vyapam and Lalitgate scams,” Azad said. The monsoon session will begin from Tuesday. Speaking on the fate of the monsoon session he said, “The functioning of Parliament depends on the government’s outlook. The Congress is a responsible party and wants the Parliament to function but people’s sentiments will have to be conveyed to the government and, hence, we will raise these issues with full force in both Houses.”
