Three-month-old conjoined twins in Shanghai, who underwent the first-of-its-kind separation surgery aided by 3D printing, were discharged from the hospital over the weekend and are said to be recovering well. The twin sisters, born in China’s Jiangxi Province, were connected at the hip and lower spine by soft tissue. They had separate digestive systems, but shared one anus.
