COP21: Sleepless in Paris following climate draft agreement

China’s Special Envoy on Climate Change Xie Zhenhua said on Wednesday that the Chinese delegation is analyzing the first Paris climate draft agreement. This progress came after days of intensive negotiations among parties, paving the way for a final accord to keep global temperature rises to below 2°C. Earlier, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius presented a new text for a global climate agreement as a basis for further negotiations among countries in the next 48 hours.
