Jeremy Corbyn has been re-elected as leader of Britain’s Labour Party. Corbyn defeated his challenger, Owen Smith, with over 61 percent of the total vote. During his re-election campaign, Corbyn vowed to unify Britain’s opposition party ahead of the country’s next elections. Experts say Corbyn’s big re-election win gives him a strong mandate to push back against Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May’s plans.
