David Cameron: Still awaiting confirmation of ‘Jihadi John’ death

A leading British member of the Islamic State, known as ‘Jihadi John,’ and three other foreign militants were killed in US-led air strikes in the northern Syrian town of Raqqa, according to the monitoring group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. British Prime Minister David Cameron said in a statement on Friday that they are still awaiting confirmation about the strike. He said if it were true, it would be a powerful strike at the heart of the Islamic State.
