Air India officials have filed a complaint against YSR Congress MP from Andhra Pradesh for allegedly slapping a station manager of Air India at Tirupati airport. According to Air India Public Relatiosn Officer (PRO), its boarding counter closes 45 minutes before take off but Lok Sabha MP P Mithun Reddy and his relative arrived 20 minutes after the counter was closed. When his relative was refused the boarding pass, Reddy slapped Air India official Rajshekhar and his supporters assaulted him. Following the complaint, a case was registered last night against the MP along with his 15 other followers under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 448 (house-trespass) of IPC. However, the MP has dismissed allegations against him
