Device helps pregnant women get seats on trains in South Korea

Good news for expectant moms in South Korea, as a new device can now improve their subway journey. Trains in Busan, the nation’s second largest city after Seoul, were installed with a smart device that can detect a small sensor that pregnant women carry. When they are within two meters of priority seating, a pink light installed on a hand rail illuminates, letting passengers know to vacate the seat.
