After a two-day summit in Ise-Shima, Japan, G7 leaders issued a final statement setting global growth as a priority for dealing with threats to the world’s economy and security. The declaration also warned that the potential “Brexit” – British exit from the European Union – would pose a “serious threat to global growth.” Analysts have noted that while the statement addressed a broad range of topics, there were few concrete solutions.
